Becoming a mom for the very first time.....

April 4-5, 2012 are two days that I will never forget.   For those who didn't know - I made the move back up here to Indy at 7 months pregnant....yep - I know....a little crazy, but we did it.

Well....my due date was April 18th and as most new moms probably do, I had a list as long as my arm of things to get done before the little guy arrived.  Guess who decided to make his debut 2 weeks early??  That's right, after going into labor at 6am on the morning of April 4th and 22 hours later....Isaac Steven Anderson was born in the wee hours of Thursday, April 5th, 2012 (4:39am, to be exact) and we are so thrilled to have him here!  I have decided that he most certainly takes after his daddy with his early arrival, (Kurt is always a tad early or just on time) anyone who knows me knows that I notoriously run about 10 minutes late...except for anything work related....truly....I am always about 30 minutes early for any photoshoot....go figure. 

So, my maternity leave has begun earlier than expected...I will be back in full swing in mid-June when I work with our fantastic couple, Becca and Andy, on their wedding in downtown Indy.  Until then....

Kurt Spoerle and his Fabulous Team at Talk to Tucker with stephanie nicole photography

I always love doing something a bit different every now and then and working with Kurt Spoerle and his team on their new portraits for their marketing material and website was so much fun!  For all of you out there who think that getting your photo taken for work is boring and tedious....I am here to tell you - it' doesn't have to be!  We laughed and had such a great time during this shoot at a Drees model home in Carmel....   I can't wait to work with them again!

 

Becca and Andy's Zionsville Engagement Session

Becca and Andy - what can I say?  Now this couple is truly in love and boy did it show during their engagement session!  We had a blast shooting around downtown Zionsville....and luckily, the winter weather even cooperated with us!

I am more than excited to shoot their upcoming wedding (along with Curt Littlecott, my partner from our Orlando studio) at the Indiana Roof Ballroom in June - I know it is going to be just gorgeous!!

Hello Indianapolis!

Finally....after 15 years of living in Florida....I have come "home" again to Indiana....and it feels great!  I am so excited to have the opportunity to work with some fabulous midwest families....beyond excited, really.  (although it will take me some time to get used to these winters again)

Now don't get me wrong....I absolutely loved my time spent in Orlando...I made some great friends and that is where I learned and crafted my skills in the photography world.  In fact, I am still a co-owner of an incredible studio in downtown Orlando.  Our FL studio is nu visions in photography and my business partner is Curt Littlecott, who, it must be said,  is one of the best photographers in the nation....seriously!!   I am lucky to not only call him my business partner, but also my friend. 

With all of that said - I am super excited to announce the launch of stephanie nicole photography here in the Indianapolis, IN area.   I will specialize in families, kids, boudiour and weddings....all of which I love!!!  There is nothing better than being a part of documenting a family's history...no matter what it is. 

Thanks for your support so far my Indy family and friends....I look forward to growing many relationships and working with great families throughout the years to come.
