What a way to start the new year!  I had such a blast working with Kristina and Josh on their engagement session in downtown Indianapolis....what an awesome couple!!  These two are so completely enamored with each other...they sure did make my job easy!  

I can't wait for their big day in April....I know without a doubt their wedding day will be filled with so much emotion (both laughter and happy tears) and I am thrilled to be a part of their wedding day team!

I have had such a wonderful year filled with some pretty great families and clients....  I ended 2013 with the fabulous Monson family....and their sweet pup Ellie.   They all braved the cold 25 degree weather so we could do their family shoot in downtown Carmel....they sure pulled off the "warm" look, didn't they?  :)

Love this family and love that they were my last shoot of 2013....so excited to see what 2014 brings!

The Rounds Family "Duck Dynasty" Photoshoot with stephanie nicole photography

Okay - so I just had to share a few photos from a shoot I did for my brother Chris, and his family.  They are huge Duck Dynasty fans and thought it would be fun to do a Duck Dynasty themed photo for their Christmas card this year....and oh my goodness....we had such a great time with it!  The kids nailed the "serious" look...my sister in law Lisa looks like a model and Chris...well he fit the part well with his long hair and beard.  Thanks to my mom for giving us this great idea!!

**side note....since this shoot, Chris has cut all of his hair off and shaved his beard....he had been  growing his hair out for over 2 years so he could donate it to Locks of Love....have I mentioned I have an AWESOME brother??**

Oh my goodness....the cuteness!  I simply cannot believe that Leighton is 6 months old already!  It truly feels like just yesterday that I was meeting her and her mommy and daddy for the very first time when she was 2 weeks old.  

This little lady has developed such an awesome personality....and oh those baby blue eyes...with one glance, she has anyone wrapped around her sweet little finger.  I know her parents Whitney and Mike are so very smitten with their sweet baby girl....and I certainly am as well.....I am already thinking about what fun we will have with her 1 year shoot!!  :)

The Wallace Family - Oak Park, IL Family Photoshoot with stephanie nicole photography

I had the most amazing time spending the afternoon with Bruce, Sue and their awesome son Kevin in downtown Oak Park, IL....  This fun-loving family had me laughing the entire time....it is so clear how much they adore each other and their smiles are contagious!  :)   Bruce and Sue are clearly so very proud of Kevin....and rightfully so....he is a witty, smart and very polite young little man.... watch out ladies....he's going to melt some hearts!

It was another perfect Fall day for my shoot with Clay, Jennifer and their adorable son Blake.  I was so excited to work with this family and after getting to know Jennifer a bit...we realized we graduated from the same high school (Pike!) just a year apart!   Such a small world.....  :)

It must be said...little man Blake was pretty darn serious that day.....I'm pretty certain he was wondering why this strange lady kept following him around with a big "black box" in front of her face saying silly things to him....but his expressions sure were priceless, none-the-less  :)

It was a perfect Fall day to spend some time with the beautiful Joshi family in their backyard....I had such fun getting to know this awesome family and hanging out with the boys....their facial expressions were priceless.... the last image is a sequence of them and it just makes me laugh as the younger brother is trying so hard to make his big brother smile.... love when moments like this happen!   :)

Aaahhhh....the Toren family....now this is a family filled with so much love for each other it makes you want to be a part of their family! (and they are sooo much fun to be around!)  I had such a great time spending the afternoon with this fabulous family and I love that they brought a family heirloom wagon to photograph the kiddos in....it was just perfect!

Can I just say the Ralich family is awesome....it's that simple.  They are so full of life and I just love every time I get to photograph them.  Their sweet girls are gorgeous with such amazing personalities...they make my job so much fun!
